Overview:
The test system can be applied to the charge-discharge cycles test of 2S-4S mobile phones, notebooks and tablet PCs battery packs of American TI Corporation’s schemes, such as BQ20Z45, BQ20Z75, BQ20Z95, BQ20Z70, BQ20Z80, BQ2083, BQ2084, BQ2085, BQ2060, BQ3060, 30Z55 and 40Z50 etc.
Functions
- 8-channel independent test for diverse cells;
- It has independent MCU and RAM. After the Industrial Personal Computer (IPC ) loading the test steps, it can automatically execute battery testing, collect the test data and return to IPC;
- The modular architectural design can be divided into control module and power module. Every module is an independent component, which can provide more stable control and be easy to use and maintain;
- Every channel has its corresponding LED light to display the testing state of each battery: charging, discharging, EOT (End of Test), charge completed, discharge completed, PASS and NG;
- SMBUS communication function;
- Accept the IPC test parameters setting and test control commands:
- Load test program parameters;
- Start, pause, continue and stop testing;
- Return the actual measured values of cells in each channel, SMBUS information and test state:
- Value: cell voltage, current, temperature and calculated capacity
- SMBUS: PACK voltage, current, temperature, surplus capacity and cell voltage etc;
- State: test modes and methods, start test, testing, rest, finish and various error messages;
- Return the data curves and test results;
- Software calibration and parameter settings;
Test Items:
- Charge mode: automatic switch between constant current and constant voltage (CC-CV);
- Discharge mode: constant current, constant power (CC/CP);
- Support different-port test of charge and discharge;
- Test step, cut-off / jump condition setting
- Data acquisition of voltage, current and temperature
- Automatically reconnecting after power loss
- Over or low current/voltage automatic protection function
